Duraline's Taper Nose “J” Series In Line Latching Single Pole Cam Type Connectors are designed for quick, safe positive power connections. High conductivity with low resistance is assured through connections that lock tight and stay tight, yet can quickly and easily connected and disconnected without the need for tools. As the original manufacturer of the cam-lok style positive latching connector and receptacles, we have been supplying shipyards for over 50 years and our connectors are the standard used by all navy facilities and shipyards both in the United States and abroad. Our connectors have been thoroughly tested and field proven to be the finest available. These locked connectors are impervious to vibration and will not twist loose from cable flexing. These connectors achieve positive connections through a unique latching design. High locking pressures are developed, yet unlocking is quickly accomplished by depressing an insulated, external button. There are no external metal parts and no tools needed to connect or disconnect. Both male and female connectors are protected by a long shrouded style insulating sleeve. The long shrouded insulating jacket extends past both male and female contacts, for total insulation. Insulators are available in several colors for phase identification. Typical applications include motor connections, generators, power panels and ship to shore systems. Polarized contacts have a male keyway and female pin that prevent mis-phasing of power connectors.

The Posi-Lok Power Distibution System from Cooper Interconnect brings a new level of safety to electrical applications. Now there's no need to haul around python sized, multi-conductor cables. Posi-Lok Power Distribution Systems let you use lighter, single conductor cables rated at higher amperages. Designed to meet Article 520-53 Section K and Article 530-22 Section A (NEC) standards, Posi Lok's built-in safety features require the user to connect or disconnect each plug in sequence. Protective covers cannot be raised until the preceding plug is locked into position. The disconnect sequence is reversed. The same plugs that connect to panels also connect to each other so that you can use long runs of cable. Polarity is assured because each plug is uniquely keyed and color coded for easy, positve connecting. Posi-Lok plugs feature recessed electrical contacts that are protected by shatter-resistant synthetic rubber insulators and impact-resistant molded sleeves.

Posi-Lok Systems are used indoors and outdoors and can be used for connecting standby power generators and load testing equipment in hospitals and in heavy industrial environments
