SOFTPower simplifies Industrial Machinery wiring installations and conforms to NFPA-79 Requirements

SOFTPower provides factory prewired molded-to-cable connectors that provide portable and modular power for industrial machinery. Recent changes to the NFPA-79 Electrical Standard for industrial machinery allow for the use of molded connectors with cable that meets the crush and impact resistance of type (MC) metal clad cable. SOFTPower is ideally designed for industrial machinery systems, offering NFPA compliant components that provide labor and material savings.

Dual Rated TC/STOOW cable. Simply use pre-wired SOFTPower Cable Assemblies in lieu of conduit and eliminate the need for raceways or cable trays.

Dual Rated Cable provides crush and impact performance of (MC) Metal Clad cable. Flexible PVC cable provides additional adaptability, which eases installation without sacrificing safety. 

Labor Saving installation and factory tested connectors eliminate mis-wiring in the field.

Environmentally sealed connectors prevent the ingress of dust, water and other contaminants reducing maintenance activities and downtime.

UL recognized and CSA qualified connectors are designed for use in the U.S. and Canada.

Crouse-Hinds Mini-Line Connector, molded to heavy-duty STOOW and SOOW cable, have been designed specifically for abusive applications in which the cable is exposed to constant flexing and/or dirty, oily or harsh environments, They also have excellent resistance to welding flash, hot chips and other severe conditions found in demanding manufacturing settings.

The molded-to-cable construction becomes an integral part of the cable assembly, creating a bond that is impervious to penetration from external contaminants. Its one-piece connector head is made from material with the same physical properties as the cable jacket and provides far superior service.
